I love going out with xing(:It was damn fun. Haven't had so much fun in a long long time.
And hey, it wasn't my fault she ate so much.HAHAHAHAHAHA.
okay. Anyway, just wanted to share what I thought about on Friday night and of which, coincidentally, thinking of blogging about it when it was mentioned on the 9pm chnl 8 drama. Can they read my mind or what?? Even though that is ridiculous coz the script was written like way before.
So, caught between the adventure nyaa camp and my OCP to Cambodia, I consulted siew hua about it. She said she would not go for the camp if she was me; because what my mother said was true, what if I fell sick during the camp? There wasn't enough time to rest in between. To me, that is true too, but who is to say that another not-overly-adventurous camp will come by again? I mean, I am not your overly-adventurous person, a camp with these adventurous standards will do fine for me. I'd really hate to miss this chance. Then again, believing in what my mother said AND believing that I will not get another chance so good does not work. It just doesn't work both ways.
Which brings me to the point I want to raise; other people can only show you your options and provide you with their opinions, but in all, the choice is still yours; YOU must make the decision and the decision still lies with YOU. No one else can do it for you and you cannot expect anyone to do so too. You can choose to take someone else's decision as your own; but that still requires you to choose to do so, doesn't it?
So, to conclude, everything lies with you actually, unless your parents can act on your behalf (ie you are underaged and require parents' consent, etc). And also, YOU have to make the decision; no one else can and should do it for you.
Despite still feeling torn, I know the decision still lies with me, my mother can give me advice, friends can give you pointers, but I have to make the choice; CAN I CHOOSE BOTH?? >.<
